at Bracknell - April 2012 Once again a Very Big Well Done to all you Smart Rockers! On the day we managed to take 4 of the 7 medals that we could have won, which, considering that in the later two categories we were competing against anyone over the age of 26, was marvellous for our older dancers!! There were awards for the first six places in the Gold & below Category 18-25 years and our one couple who competed in this age group took first place despite Chris almost pulling out in the 24 hours before due to illness! brilliant! 1st Chris Spinks & Georgina Kilner There were awards for the first six places in the Gold & below Category 26 years and over and our winners were: 4th Pete Churcher & Jan Hughes In the Gold Bar and above 26 years and over awards were given for the first five places and our winners in this category were: 4th Mark Morton & Julia Candita 5th Barry O’Shea & Kit Jones And in the regional qualifiers all 13 of our couples have been successful and will be able to compete in the national competition in Blackpool.
